Optimation VP Named New CSIA Board Member

Jennifer Palumbo is Public Relations Manager at Optimation.  Her primary responsibilities include corporate communications, media relations, website content development and maintenance, marketing collateral, writing articles and project profiles, and sales support.

ROCHESTER, N.Y., April 10 – Diane Trentini, VP marketing and sales at Optimation has joined the Control System Integrators Association’s (CSIA) board of directors. 

 

The CSIA board is comprised of leadership from member companies, and meet quarterly and annually to work on initiatives to support CSIA’s mission, including:

a) Promoting the image of the control system integrator to clients, suppliers, and others;

b) Defining the role of a control system integrator and to represent the interests of the members of CSIA in this role;

c) Developing standards, guidelines, and best practices for sound, professional business and technical practice;

d) and Providing a forum in which members of CSIA can identify and discuss common issues.

 

Trentini brings over 25 years of experience in software engineering, systems integration, quality, marketing and sales, and management, as well as nonprofit board expertise. She currently serves on CSIA’s marketing and executive selection committees. Outside of CSIA, Trentini has previously served on the board of directors and is a past president of The Rochester Engineering Society, and currently serves on an advisory board for COMET.

 

“Diane’s knowledge of the system integration industry as well as her understanding of the functioning of CSIA that has resulted from committee involvement, makes her a perfect fit for the CSIA board,” said CSIA Executive Director Robert Lowe. “Diane has amazing interpersonal skills, is engaging, and always does what she says she’ll do. Onboarding a new CEO and getting CSIA certification adopted in the marketplace will be the biggest challenges and opportunities in 2015 for the CSIA board.”
