Optimation was one of seven companies to be inducted in the Rochester Area Business Ethics Foundation's "ETHIE Honor Roll" Class of 2014 on Jan. 28, 2015. The honor roll recognizes companies that have set themselves apart from their competition by educating, promoting, celebrating and supporting ethical business cultures, and upholding ethical standards in the Rochester business community.

Other honor roll inductees were: Genesee Valley Motors, Iberdrola/RG&E, Rainbow Restoration, Harbec Inc., Heritage Christian Services and Rochester Rotary Club.

Continuing the conversation in ethics, guest speaker William R. Lloyd shared his experience as a whistleblower at MassMutual Financial Group after discovering a defect in a company product that could have hurt customers.
