Safety Engineers

Our safety engineers assure that acceptable levels of safety are embedded into the project management, engineering and skilled trade services we provide.  Our safety engineers work in conjunction with all levels of our workforce from management and engineering to our wide range of skilled trades disciplines. The primary goal of our safety engineers is to manage risk by eliminating it or reducing recognized hazards to acceptable levels.

Safety Engineering is our priority...we believe

Certified Safety Practices - Keep it Safe and Sound

Certified Safety Professional on staff - Our Corporate Safety Engineering Manager, Allan Manzer CSP, is a professional member of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), the National Safety Council (NSC) and the National Fire and Protection Agency (NFPA).   He has been continuously licensed as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) in Comprehensive Practices since 1994.  Through education, experience and rigorous examination the nationally accredited National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) and internationally accredited American National Standards Institute under the ANSI/ISO/IEC 17024 standards for personnel certification programs believes he is a safety professional who has demonstrated knowledge and experience in sound safety practices.

Having a Certified Safety Professional on staff and on your project improves the opportunity to get it done right, the first time, without incident.

Safety is Success by Purpose - No Injuries is Not an Accident

We have an experienced group of highly proficient engineers who proactively think and plan for safety.  From concept to completion our safety engineers provide feedback and details of how safety can be built into the services we provide.

Safety Planning - The first step in building safety into a project and thereby mitigating risk is the health, safety and environmental (HSE) plan. Our HSE plan covers all aspects of regulatory requirements including human factors and ergonomics.  Ideally the HSE plan is to be developed during the project's concept. The HSE plan is a living document, which means it will be reviewed, managed, implemented and updated throughout the project lifecycle.

Know Safety - No Accidents

Our safety engineers have the knowledge and expertise to promote a safe and healthy work environment.  Knowledge of safety standards include: NEC, OSHA, ANSI, ISO 18001 and NFPA to name a few.

Training - We are here to help your team understand the benefits of safe from system concept to completion (design, build and startup).  After project startup, we can train your operators to safely operate and maintain the system.

In addition, our Corporate Safety Engineering Manager is authorized by the OSHA Training Institute to deliver training for OSHA's General Industry and Construction Industry Standards.

Investigation - Our safety engineers conduct onsite investigations at our client's request and provide recommendations on your system processes or facility equipment.

Our Safety Engineers are experienced with the following Safety Standards

  • OSHA (29CFR, Part 1910):  General Industry
  • OSHA (29CFR, Part 1926): Construction Industry
  • American National Standards Institute Standards (ANSI)
  • National Fire Protection Association Standards (NFPA)
  • International Standards Organization (ISO-18001) Occupational Health and Safety Standard
